Bobo's Daring Rescue
Bobo the chimp once lived in the peaceful Congo Jungle with his twin sister Fifi. One day his peace was broken and he was sent to a zoo. He doesn't know what happened to his sister. One day Bobo escaped from the zoo and soon hid in a tree in a small park, where being very frightened, he soon slept..
Bobo was woken by a loud ringing sound. He looked out the tree hole and saw a large red monster flashing blue and red lights making very loud sounds. There were some yellow and orange humans riding the monster. Bobo thought it was fascinating so he jumped out of the tree and followed the sound which brought him to a small building that was glowing orange. Bobo got closer to the building and found that the orange glow was very hot and it was spreading about the building. Inside the building he heard some crying sounds. The cries sounded very weak so Bobo felt he had to do something.
Bobo climbed a wall and climbed into an opened window where there was no fire. Inside the building there was smoke everywhere and Bobo had trouble breathing. He covered his month and listened for the crying sounds. On one side of the building the yellow humans were squirting the building with water. On the other side there was only a lot of smoke and darkness. The crying sound was coming from the quiet side so Bobo ran that way. He turned a corner and a large ball of fire burst down the hall burning Bobo's hair a little. The crying sound was on the other side of the fire so Bobo ran as fast as he could and dived through the fire and somersaulted out the other side into a bedroom.
In the room a little girl and a dog were crouched in a corner shaking, and coughing. Bobo shook the girls shoulders and pointed to the burning door. Reluctantly the girl and dog let Bobo pull them out the door. The fire in the hall was bigger now so Bobo showed them a window. Bobo didn't know how to open windows so the girl opened it. They were just about to climb out the window when a large burning piece of wood dropped from above covering them in hot deadly flames. .To be continue
