The Epic Star Puzzle Series.

Puzzle caches can no longer be ignored!
Everytime you look at you geomap, the Epic Star Puzzle series will remind you that puzzle caches are here waiting for you.

You may have noticed the occasional geo-art in other countries.  I thought it was cool and decided to make one in Okinawa.  Up until this point the only geo-art is that of the Puzzlers Paradise series in Ginoza in the form of a big  question mark. That series was extremely hard and involved 8 puzzle caches.
The Epic Star Puzzle series consists of 20 individual puzzle caches and a grand final cache where you will need to get all 20 first. So 21 puzzle caches in all.  A great chance to increase you puzzle cache numbers.

I have included  a mixed level of puzzles, some are easy and are straight forward to solve. I know many of you shy away from puzzles so these easy ones are for you to introduce you to puzzles and give you the skills needed to solve other puzzles out there.

Many of the Epic Star puzzles may require a bit of googling and take some time,  you can save them for a rainy day or when you have some spare time at work.

And a couple of the puzzles are unique ones that I thought up myself and are just nasty.  These are the ones for the puzzle challengers.

So please don't ignore these puzzles.   I spent a lot of time, effort and creativity in this series.  Not to mention a bit of money.  Over $100 in FTF prize money alone has been invested into this series.  Each cache will have a cash prize for the FTF, the amount depends on the difficulty of the cache and how much money I had in my pocket at the time of placement.

But for me, the FTF prize is not so important.  It's the self satisfaction you get for solving a puzzle and finding it.  Two for the price of one, I say.    And in this series I guarantee, you will get a great sense of satisfaction.   For the caches a not just located in any old spot.  They are all located in very interesting spots that I believe most cachers have never been to before.  Most of the caches are located in beautiful natural areas.  Muggles should not be that much of problem.  And as you may or may not know,  I like to get the cacher out of their car and use their god given tools "legs" There are no easy P&G's in this series.  I placed all of these only using legs so I know you all can do it.

To get you started you should start on these easier caches.
Osprey         Bicaching        The "V" code     Blank         Jigsaw
inner space       celestrial dragon          the fence        Not Fair

Once you solve those puzzles and have increased you puzzle solving skills, please move on to the next ones.   But be careful,  some will test you patience and some have some interesting surprises!   Need I say more.

For the more traditional types of puzzle these pages will aid you.  Rumkin   and   Braingle

For the other not so traditional types of puzzle,  a clue and/or references should be written somewhere on each puzzle page.

And finally,  if any one of you manages to successful log finds in all 21 caches I will personally congratulate you and take you out drinking at any reasonable bar and all drinks will be my shout (Aussie Lingo)  If you are not the drinking type,  I'll take you to Yakiniku instead.  This is not only for the FTF but anyone who completes this series.  Many rewards are on offer for this series.  I promise you! You will enjoy!!

Good luck and happy star caching!

 Big Dave.
