The Bad Headache.

Joe was a very healthy person and he very rarely got sick and almost never visited the doctor. But one day he had a very mild headache. It was not very
painful so he didn't really care. However after about three weeks it got worse.
Joe's head started to throb. He found that when he drank a lot of whiskey
the pain would go away. But the next morning he felt like someone was hitting him on the head with a hammer. Joe knew he could do two things. 1 - drink all the time. Or, 2 - go to a doctor.
Joe didn't like doctors so he decided to just drink all the time and be constantly drunk. At first this worked well but he soon realized he was spending too much money and all his workmates complained about his body odor. After two weeks he become used to drinking whiskey and it was more difficult to become drunk so the headaches soon came back. This time worst than before. Joe again had two choices: 1 - drink stronger alcohol. Or 2 - go see a doctor.
Joe was a very positive thinking person so believing the headache would soon go away he decided to drink stronger alcohol. He went to a liquor shop and bought the strongest alcohol he could find, Polish Vodka, 96% alcohol. Joe tried it, but it tasted so bad it made him gag. He endured the horrible taste and soon became so drunk his headache disappeared. Joe was happy and smiled again, but he soon passed out and slept on his office desk. He woke up later at midnight smelling very bad and a note was on his desk saying “Your Fired!”. And to make matters worse his headache was back and it was worse than ever. The Polish Vodka didn't help him. Once again Joe had two choices: 1 - Take drugs. Or 2 - go to a doctor.
He decided to go visit a doctor. Joe went to see a doctor and had several medical tests. First the doctor checked his ears, eyes, throat and head. Next he had a blood test, a urine test and a CT scan on his head. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong so he gave Joe some painkillers and referred him to a neurologist – a brain specialist. The neurologist did many kinds of tests and scans on Joe's brain. The doctor didn't talk much, he just looked at all the scan photos and said “Very interesting.”
For many days the doctor told Joe to come back for more tests but everyday the doctor never said what was wrong. However one monday morning the doctor took Joe to a private room and said “I have good news and bad news.”
Joe was very nervous. “First the good news is that you have a large tumor in your brain and you have only 3 days to live.”
“WHAT! That is the good news?” Joe cried in shock. “How could that be good news?. What is the bad news?”
Joe had tears in his eyes and listened. “The bad news.” The doctor said slowly. “I forgot to tell you last Friday.”
