David Sensei's thoughts.

This is what I think about Japanese Supermarkets.

Good points:
 #  Most staff are friendly, (foreign staff are freindly if they have a good day, but not friendly if they have a bad day.)
# Japanese supermarkets have 20%,30% discount and half price when the food gets a little old. This is great! foreign supermarkets usually don't do this, They hope the customer will not notice the food is old. Sometimes if the date is over their is a discount.
# Supermarkers sell cheap beer and alcohol. (Australian supermarkets don't sell alcohol)
# Plastic bags cost only 3yen.  (about 20-40cents in Australia)
# Security guard sometimes helps with parking. (In Austalia and USA, security guards are inside and usally are busy looking for shop lifters.)
# there are free food samples in some supermarkets.
4 liter milk (a good size)
This is a great size for chocolate

Bad Points:
# chocolate, ice cream, cereal and milk cartons are too small, (I want a much bigger size)
# Cashiers are sometimes very annoying when they say 250 YEEENNNNN, 120 YEEEENNN. (If the cashier has a high voice it is a terrible sound.)
# Fruit and vegetables are always wrapped and in a set. (I sometimes want to buy just one carrot not a bag of carrots)

Overrall I like Japanese Supermarkets.  They are cheap and have a lot of good food, The food is healthly than foreign supermarkets too.

Please tell me your ideas about Supermarkets.

  1. Japanese is short, small and Japanese think that health is the best. Don't dump food so food is small. A refrigerator is small too. But, If Japanese is tall and big, Japanese food become big size. I wanted to tall woman…
