The final holiday.
fear. Five big strong grizzly bears looked at them with horrible eyes.
The bears were having a relaxing sleep when a loud splash in the
water woke them up. They were not happy to wake up. “Go back in
the water!” Frank quickly said as he pulled Aran into the river again.
But just then two of the bears jumped into the river too. The two bears were very good swimmers and one bear grabbed Franks leg and pulled him under the water. “NO!” Aran screamed as the water turned red. Frank was able to escape because his jeans and shoe got ripped off by the bear and he swam back to Aran with a big bleeding cut on his leg.
At this time all five bears surrounded them and all five bears growled with delight. “Throw your backpack!” Henry yelled from the top of the cliff. Frank did not understand why but he did it anyway and threw his backpack very hard. The bag hit the biggest ugliest bear on the nose making it more angry then before. Just then the piece of meat dropped from the bag landing on the top of Aran's head. All the bears looked at the meat on his head and got ready to jump at it. “No!” Frank screamed as he tried to hit the meat away with his hand. Frank lost his balance on his cut leg and hit Aran's face by accident. Aran was knocked out and fell into the water. The piece of meat dropped into the water too and all five bears jumped on it and started to fight each other. Frank picked up his unconscious son and swam back across the river to the bottom of the cliff.
Meanwhile on top of the cliff the first bear was now looking at Henry with hungry eyes. Henry had vomited on his shoes so now he smelled like meat and it made the bear think of dinner. Henry panicked and again he could not move so the bear smiled and walked slowly towards him licking it's razor sharp teeth. At the bottom of the cliff the five bears soon ate the piece of meat and now they wanted more. They wanted human meat and with a bleeding man and an unconscious boy trying to climb the smooth slippery cliff, it would be an easy dinner. The bears slowly swam across the river towards Frank and Aran. Each bear flexed their dangerous claws in glee.
