BBQ (barbecue )
Barbecues are a very popular outdoor gathering or party for many countries. They are especially popular in the southern parts of USA and in Australia and New Zealand where they are called Barbies. Most BBQs consist of meat, meat and more meat. In the first BBQs in history only pork was used but today beef, chicken and lamb is also cooked. BBQs can take place in parks, beaches, camping grounds or any outdoor setting. These days in the back yard is very popular where the man of the house spends a lot of money to buy big barbecues and other outdoor equipment. Also the man of the house does all the cooking and is in charge of the event. Occasionlly people will make salads to cater for non meat eaters. But when a foreigner thinks of the word barbecue, they image a lot of meat and beer.
