Pencil neck: I person who works in the office and does no physical work so there necks are weak and thin like pencils. NOTE: usually people with outdoor jobs use this word as a negative meaning towards office workers.
put it on paper: to have written proof about something. EG. I don't believe your claim I want it put on paper.
State of the art: newest most modern technology or style. EG. The iPad is state of the art technology. EG.2. This school teachers the state of the art techniques.
Paint the town red: to go out and party hard in this town.
Work of art: excellant or perfect levels. EG. this report is a work of art. EG.2 James Bond is a work of art.
