    to block someone's view or way. (じゃま)
    EG. I can't see TV, you are in the way!

    In the road: same as in the way. EG. The truck parked in the road so I had to wait.

    In the red: To be losing money. EG. this company is in the red.

    In the mood: my feeling or want I want to do. EG. I'm in the mood for dancing tonight, really I'm not in the mood for anything.

    In the open: To be in plain sight, everyone can see you. EG, the couple are making love in the park in the open.

    In the neighborhood: To be near someone's house with out any plan. EG. I was just in the neighborhood so I dropping in to say hello.

    In the same boat: to be in the same situation or have the same experience as someone else. EG. I came to this singles party because I haven't had a partner for 5 years. I'm in the same boat as you. Let's go to a hotel.

    In the long run: It will happen eventually or finally or at last. EG. Gasoline in the most used energy in the world today but in the long run it will run out.
